One of our best parks in the east San Gabriel valley, nestled in the foothills of La Verne, near Marshall Canyon golf course.

Nice clean park is good for the little ones.

Kinda bland park for kids but has a pretty awesome big slide, just not a big or diverse playground/jungle gym. Has public bathrooms and is quiet and well maintained. Not often crowded, lots of people walking their dogs or out for a walk or picnickers or people using the basketball courts. Semi-scenic and peaceful, but definitely not the most scenic park in the area, by far. While I haven't seen security or PD patrols, I haven't seen any vagrants, degenerates, or shady characters here, nor any evidence (trash, graffiti, etc) of them on the parks grounds nor bathrooms or outbuildings, which is surprising for such a relatively well secluded park and parking lot. Usually pretty quiet and have never seen a crowd there.

Beautiful trail near by that we ran up. Tough run, tough hike. But breathtaking. It helps that it was a little over cast so the temperature was perfect.
